About Norwich, CT

For any college experience to be complete, learning must extend beyond the classroom. At Three Rivers Community College, students can participate in clubs, volunteer and service learning activities, student government, honor societies, and many other organizations. Trips, cultural activities and other special events are held all year long by the Office of Student Programs, as well as the Three Rivers College Foundation. Whatever your interests, you’ll be sure to find opportunities for enrichment both in and out of the classroom at Three Rivers.

Toward the Future

While we look toward the future of a consolidated campus at our Thames Valley site, our two current campus locations offer a wide variety of learning facilities and resources. Read more about each of our campuses below:

Mohegan Campus

The Mohegan campus on 7 Mahan Drive in Norwich is located on forty acres of meadowland bordering the winding trails of scenic Mohegan Park. The inviting three-story instructional building houses spacious classrooms, a career and student development center, a 390-seat auditorium, modern science, nursing, and computer labs, a well-equipped library and learning resource center with computerized access to more than 500,000 volumes, a children's center, facilities for conferences and cultural exhibits, a bookstore, and a cafeteria. Faculty and administrative offices are located in an annex adjacent to the instructional building. Outdoors, the campus includes playing fields, a picnic area and playground, and well-lighted parking areas. The Mohegan campus is convenient to shoreline and inland communities of the region via Interstate 395 (Exit 81 East) or via Connecticut Route 2. Public transportation is available on SEAT buses with a bus stop and shelter at the main campus.

The College occupies a two-story complex housing classrooms, gymnasium, cafeteria, library, a career services and placement center and well-equipped laboratories for physics, chemistry, computers, CAD, electricity, electronics, design, materials testing, metallurgy, manufacturing, photonics, and other engineering support activities.
